Nightmare with MyRepublic
 
Branch sign up on 19/7 get Sim on the spot

20/7 morning received sms porting approved will port over from 11pm and 3 hours disruption.

21/7 plugin MR sim. guess what
NO SERVICE except incoming SMS.

Livechat them, Try everything they ask to set APN, off volte, restart, reinsert sim etc. NOTHING HAPPEN
They will investigate. ok i wait

22/7 NO SERVICE
Livechat them again, Repeat the setting and i have try using 3 phone. Still no luck.
They will investigate again. ok i wait

23/7 NO SERVICE
Livechat again, Their reply: M1 has already updated them that it was resolved.
But myside still no service, asking for sim replacement> NOT FREE need to pay $32.1. asking send sim card back to them for investigate> no place to send.

24/7 NO SERVICE
again livechat reply the same M1 has already updated them that it was resolved. I got NOTHING to say, keep repeat problem everyday. if i never livechat them, they will think the problem solved. and collect my bill every month.

NO SERVICE CENTER if got problem LIVECHAT ONLY

No service means no reception? Still can receive means got reception.

Or do you mean no 4G data?

ya lo. how come no service still can receive sms? this is power. :D

Myrepublic has physical store, actually can go to them directly also. maybe easier to resolve issues. i have signed up for total 5 lines with them until. none of them has issues with the sim cards given.

Outgoing sms : NO
Mobile Data : NO

Check everything as they told
NO WAY to send SIM card for them to check
Everyday reply the same: M1 say everything ok

Go to the store is the same
They only do sale, if you tell them the problem
They also using livechat on my behalf.

If you can receive SMS means there is service, not No Service.

For Mobile Data, make sure the APN is sunsurf.
For SMS, make sure the sms gateway is M1 sms gateway.
For calls, did you see any reception? Do manual network scanning and select MyRepublic.

I feel is SIM card provisioning error. Try telling live chat agent, you tried all ways with different phone, need sim replacement. Ask them can get at physical stores.

Day 5 problem unsolved
Livechat again with different staff repeat my problem again
and repeat setting and screenshot to him

The answer is he will send to the so call TEAM and ask me wait for email

NOT recommend for the service

Receive bill invoice email very fast

Solution email wait long long

This is the first time i post something here
Mean that it really bad
