Hi every1, Iím new here...Bitcoin hit a high today and Iím pulling my hair out~ Been looking at it since beginning of the yr when it was usd1000+, relook at it in sep/oct 4000+ and yet still undecided although I did register a CoinHako account. The horror when I saw it at 8000+ today!

Now Iím seriously thinking to put some money(say 1000 for a try) in it and Ethereum...For a beginner, I should buy and hold say 1-2yrs? Or should I buy to trade?

Am totally new to all these investing and all the info are seriously confusing. Saw a fb ad the other day on MT4 trading, registered ny interest hoping to get some info but ended up getting nonstop calls fr the a/c mgr

If you want a safe bet, just buy ETH and hold it.

And forget about all those ADs you see on FB or any social media. They are trying to cash in on people who don't know much about crypto.

Start reading up and join discussion forums on Reddit to get yourself familiarise with cryptocurrency. And if you're more adventurous after that, you can go into Alt trading.

lol...

I hope he is not asking them to join Bitconnect as his downstream.

If his email recommendation is Bitconnect, Stay Away.

Hey buddy,

If you are that good. What solution you can provide to newbies? Can you tell me what is the requirement for a Coinbase in order to get an referral bonus? You think you can guide some in a few lines of word? Please advice. Thanks!

My thinking might be different from you. For me, I dont care about those are ponzi scheme or not. Can help me make money is good scheme. Any of the scheme can be ponzi. All returns for the investor are from BTC. But so far this scheme is making me money only base on daily interest. I even withdraw out my BTC already. I think this scheme will only stop when they eat up enough money from investors. If you notice, the trend for BCC and BTC is the same graph.

you're just lucky you got in early. did you tried pulling your close friends and family to this scheme as well?

alright heads up everyone who contacted him. beware of bitconnect.

as long as new investors capital investment is paid towards the early investors as returns (or part of it), it is a ponzi.

however, if the returns are not from new investors, then i won't call it ponzi.

After we filter out the troll comments, the benefit of a discussion forum is that everyone can share their views which gives beginners both side of a story. It don't matter which position your views or my views are, with informed knowledge, everyone can make better choice in their investment

If you're wondering why so many of us wonder why is there a need to PM you directly instead of being shared here, this is the reason.

I'm not too sure what your email conversation with them comprise and I have no idea why is there a need to transfer from Coinbase to a another E-Wallet before cashing out. Maybe you don't want to get banned for advertising. That I can understand.

But we take Bitconnect as an example, it's a HYIP scheme. It's a ponzi. For those who managed to get in early, hooray! But don't burn the people downstream by not giving them the full picture of what Bitconnect really is.

Now that we're having a discussion, people who surf this thread can make their own judgement on whether they want to invest in Bitconnect or not.

====

I've been online for far too long and I am not interested in getting in an argument online.

So if your question about how Coinbase referral works is a sincere question. Here's the official link https://support.coinbase.com/custome...ferral-program

As for how I help newbies, you can go through this thread and Crypto Currency Chit Chat Group thread in EDMW forum. I don't mind help answering their questions. All the have to do is ask.

My understanding of buying/selling using Gemini correct me if i'm wrong

1) transfer $ to Gemini US account using DBS remit
2) purchase cryto currency and transfer to software based wallet for storage while waiting for price to raise
3) transfer back to gemini wallet to sell
4) submit withdrawal request to withdraw to SG account
I read somewhere that they have issues withdrawing from Gemini, possibly flagged out by the authorities.

How is your experience?

Hi Wacky,

Why should I share something which i might not have chance to see back my old reply to reply? And sharing which takes long procedures, do you think typing here is easy? Sharing info here is like touch and go. Not proposal writting. If I write a long script here, who got the chance to read and raise question? Just the top few person. Do you agree? I am not selling anything, what BTC can use to sell? Are you new to cypto? Only referral can be done if you understand the crypto. And I do not want to spam the page here. Get a clear picture now?

Thanks for reading.

Regards,
Bit Chaser
when you share here i'm sure you will get ALOT MORE responses... and you are free to reply them... it's so much more efficient to post here rather than repeat the same thing to every single person that email u isn't it...??

and yes... some ppl here DO read everything... there are many WOT posts that ppl DO read...

i think more like you want their e-mail addresses so that you can spam ppl's e-mails with more ads and stuff...

or you are doing the below:
Best case is referral code.

Could also be:
Pumping junk altcoins
Providing links to malware wallets
Sweet talking newbies for private keys
posting such things openly here will be exposed by sharp eye ppl...

regards,
wacky
