This account is just killing it with the rising 1 mth sibor + max 12 counters
2.4% for a SGD savings account is crazy.
It's awesome!

But I notice one month sibor is 1.50386 today
It was 1.50716 on July 29. Rate starts to drop?

Hi There may I know if I want to top up some $ into maxigain account should I top today 2 August? Or last working day of August? Thanks
I need to add that the funds are now sitting in a POSB esavings account which is low interest & I've maxed out my Multiplier already.
So even I top up maxigain today it doesn't help the Bonus interest but the Base interest is still better than the POSB esavings account?
Sent from Motorola NEXUS 6 using GAGT

Top up on the 2nd day as daily balance still earn interest from the base interest

Is there a cap on the balance that can earn bonus interest?

That is the base interest rate cap.
I think, for bonus interest, there is no cap.

A question

Let say you already have an existing CMS account, with 50k, already reached counter 12
And you have a spare 50k to invest in
Would you
A) Put in the 50k into that existing account?
B) Open a new CMS account?(Not sure whether it is possible though)

Things to consider
SDIC only insured up to S$50,000 per account

Any advise ?

I'll just max out to 150k, before opening another Maxigain.
