Citibank Maxigain Savings Account

So it's true that opening the account no need to sign for citibank credit card??

Recently went to open a maxigain account, the person attending suddenly pulled out a broucher to ask me to choose a CC. I told him I dun need a cc but he insisted that to open a account I need to sign a CC, apparently it's a requirement of or smth...

Didn't know he was trying to smoke me sia, knn gonna launch a complain
Confirm don’t need. You will need a debit card though if you want internet banking.

By the way after quite some time of idling sibor finally exceeds the 1.512 line. Now new height at 1.51525. Hope it starts to climb up another step.

Hope it go bull or maintance at this rate then every month 2.4% interest good for me already

Confirm donít need. You will need a debit card though if you want internet banking.
Strange I don't recall I have debit card with citibank

Think you need at least ATM Card, debit card or credit card to register for account for internet banking.

When you register for a new internet banking account, the registration page brings you to a page to enter your ATM/debit or credit card number.

Hi Guys, I recently opened Citi Maxi gain account and finally after two weeks, I got email. When I log in, I can only see the account number xxx123 etc and Account type is "Checking". Is this the correct one?

Most likely yes.

but we can't see you log in or your account, so we can't say with 100% certainty.

During acct opening, I asked the officer about this and he explained it's always shown as Checking even though its a savings acct.

Oh thought is to cash out immediately? If cash out Tom, your balances will fall below last mth balance

Not really, if cash out interest tomorrow the lowest balance in oct will still not be less than the lowest balance in Sep.
