Citibank Maxigain Savings Account

Does this mean 15K in cash to be deposited upon opening of account (even when i have citibank credit cards)?
What if you can't maintain the 15K? Thats a lot of $$$!

Then they'll deduct a SGD15 account maintenance fee from your balance each month.

Skip Maxigain and try to save more money and use promos from other bank instead. Maxigain is for people to park the money for a very long period or till the interest returns has changed.

I just signed up for the maxigain... together with 2 credit cards and easy credit.. the credit card got promotion.. spend $200 each month on credit card got $20 cashback, promotion valid for 6 months.. looks a good deal...

Went to a Citibank branch yesterday.

From Dec 2018, Maxigain will be pegged @ 0.7 SIBOR

Min sum increased to 70K.

I walked away wondering if it's still a good deal - which it probably still is.
