TOP UP PROMO

Has anyone topped up to MaxiGain and successfully received Top Up Bonus?

https://www.citibank.com.sg/gcb/inve...sLearnMoreALPO

I read TnC and did not find any exclusion unless CitiBank regards MaxiGain as "Cash management Account"?

In response to people who say mrt branches cannot open immediately compared to other branches.
It might be they upgraded their system recently, previously forumers had bad experiences at MRT Branches.

Before 01-Jan-2019, Citi Maxigain was excluded from the Top Up Reward TnC. After 01-Jan-2019, Citi Maxigain is eligible for the Top Up Reward. You need to sign a Form to enjoy the Top Up Reward.

Woodland branch is 'full service' branch

https://www.citibank.com.sg/gcb/othe...b_location.htm

Those so-called MRT ones they are referring to are 'Instant Banking Centre' .

So no... still wouldnt advise anyone to go to any of the MRT ones known as 'instant banking centre' unless you want a horrific experience. Those MRT ones known as 'full service' branch are still ok.

Instant Banking Centre at MRT stations deal mainly with credit card matters.

If a MRT station has a full service banking branch, yes, go ahead and open maxigain... But if it is just a IBC, avoid.

An IBC normally has a few Citi staff loitering outside the entrance trying to interest you in signing up credit cards

Same here. Woodlands branch didn’t allow opening a Joint account for my parents. Worse still: put my mum’s gender as Male and gave her a wrong date of birth.

Had to go the Orchard branch (McDonald house) to get the changes made and open a joint account.
