After interest credited
I noticed that the interest was credited in today, the last day of March. Can I confirm with the experts here that withdrawing the interest today will not result in the bank doing some retabulation in April, thus taking back a one day pro-rated interest amount? Thanks for any advice.

Just do it on 1 Apr 2019. No hurry right?

just did a fast transfer today 31mar but in the app, it is reflected as a 01 april transaction. This means it will not count for april interest calculation?
FAST transfers done on Sundays (and public holidays) will be value-dated the next workday, Monday. "Value Date" is more important, than actual date of transfer.

Some banks like POSB and Maybank does not differentiate working days and non working days. If fast transfer today will take value date as today 31 March. Not sure about Citibank but better to transfer on 1 Apr to avoid any problems.

Isn't it better that the outward fast transfer today is reflected tomorrow?

Still feel safer to transfer interest out on 1 Apr then 31 Mar. If later got problem hassle to call up and bang table. Better be safe than sorry.

Mar interest is early. Credited on 30 Mar. Noticed that if last day of mth falls on Sun, interest credited 1 day earlier (eg Sep 2018).

Account is showing DEACTIVATED, not sure whether is because too long didn't login.

Anyone know whether it is feasible to use scheduled regular transfers to transfer out the interest, instead of doing regularly? Probably set a conservative amount, taking note of short months like Feb. Also just to confirm, we can transfer out both the BONUS INTEREST and INTEREST EARNED portions, minus the cents on the 1st of each month, and will be fine?

Someone mentioned before that it is easy to activate it online yourself so no need to go to tge extreme of automating interest transfer out. I have not experienced it myself. Maybe call tge hotline to guide you if you can't figure out how to do it online ?

anything more than $150k doesn't earn any sibor or bonus (counter) interest, so if you estimate a minimum to auto-transfer every month, you'll be leaving behind some dollars and cents inside for no good benefit.

it's easier to just login and do a FAST transfer at the first day of each month...

and you can transfer the total interest, leaving behind exactly the same amount you had the previous month (unless you haven't hit $150k yet).
