currently have 150k still inside maxigain. not sure where to put it still.

You can read the comments below for option, for me I put most of my money to Maybank isavvy and isavvy-I musical chair as it has high liquidity and decent interest rates 1.9%

Interest rates surely dropping below 1% in next few years if not by next year. If really want to look for yield, should do SSB, at least can fix for 10 yearS.

SSB is more for risk-adverse ppl. there's definitely much better value elsewhere. no risk no gain, there must be a trade off somewhere.

Those with just maxigain account... Once you closed the account you won't be able to log in to iBanking anymore?

Wanted to log in to see if my account is closed successfully but can't log in. Error says unable to process my request.

True for me. I believe that happens when last account of a bank is closed.

For those who kept the full 150k in December, there's bonus interest of 38.22 credited yesterday. Heng I didn't close the account yet as the CSO said still got base interest for January. End up with total interest of 41.81.

Sadly, have to really close liao since has been zeroed out on 2 Jan. Will miss this account!

At 1.7% interest, the 150k would have earned $212 for 1 month.

2019-05 1.302%
2019-04 1.279%
2019-03 1.289%
2019-02 1.260%
2019-01 1.242% // 70% of 1m SIBOR

2018-11 1.296%
2018-10 1.213%
