If like that, they are going to lose customers.
From 80% drop to 70%. Now again drop just after 6 months?
Lol, it was just a random comment by someone and you all take it so seriously..

but what the person said is true, likely to decrease if SIBOR increase, they will probably try to keep it around ~2.5% range as the maximum, as long as the other fixed deposits,SSB and saving accounts like eSaver and iSavvy remains at ~2% range.

There is no reason for them to give ~3% if fixed deposits and SSBs are only at around 2%...

also dont think they care even if they lose customers. the last change already lose all those customers with less than 70k balance, and they love it

Hey everyone, if i wan to withdraw maxigain interest into DBS, what is the easiest to do it? Physically go there withdraw or can be done online?

And just to check. To prevent counters from dropping due to withdrawal of interest. Lets say 31st May they give me $250, before 30jun i withdraw any amount less than $250 will not lead to counters reduction right?

After 150k, can we open another maxigain account under same name to take the 2.5% advantage ?

yes for withdraw for less than $250.

No for another account under your name, unless it a joint account with another next of kin.

Take note that the Bonus Interest which you received in May-19 is for the month of Apr-19.

looking to open an account and understand that it is a min of 70k daily balance to get interest now and need 15k to open an account.
can i check if below strategy is correct pls?

1. open end of the mth with 15k.
2. leave it for 12 mths for counter to climb to counter 12
3. transfer 55k when counter reaches 12.

Why less than $250? Surely you know how to read numbers to 2 decimal places...

4. Top up 1cent quarter to prevent account for being inactive - (if inactive need to call up to re-activate your account again.)

Yes correct. But step 2, if reaches 6th month and you top up to S$70K

Your interest rate could be around 2% already beat many banks, but also subjected to the 1 month sibor in the 6 months time of course.

Cheers and have a nice day!
