Why less than $250? Surely you know how to read numbers to 2 decimal places...
I dun understand, please elaborate
If your interest is $250.03, why not just withdraw $250.03 (via FAST, easy and efficient)? There's no need to leave "a little bit" behind, you're not leaving change or tips for the waiter

If the $250.03 is going to earn more interest in the maxigain than anywhere else why need to withdraw every cent of it? It is not as if he has reached the cap of $150k deposit.

Another 4k i will reach the cap liao.
But 20k belongs to my Mum, today i just transferred my Mum's 20k into my citibank. Using my salary and bonuses, i will monthly pay her back her portion of interest based on the amount she contributed, plus 'capital', so that she dont need to find a new place for putting FD for this year.

Depends if you’re already a Citi member or not.

Just indicate your interest online and Citibank will sent a staff down to your house and assist you to open the MaxiGain account via his/her iPad.
The account will be opened within a day or two.

That was about a year ago and it was a Sunday that the staff came. I wasn't a Citi customer then.

Called Citi CSO to have someone call me back so that I can sign up for the top up promo.

One week later, still no one call

lucky for you, the bugis branch refused to do for me unless I had a 15k cheque

but the way they phrased it, think even if I had brought a cheque, they would also have refused to do it

Funny, I received a call the next day from Citibank. They offered to come down to my place to open for me but I rather go down to their branch instead since it's on the way for me.

The type of service provided depends on the networth they know (or think) you have.
