Do you guys always have problem to reactivate your maxigain account (no account activity) via ibanking or app? I always need to call in to reactivate.
it isn't an issue for those who needs to withdraw the monthly interest because the balance has topped 150k.

if your fund is less than 150k and is slowly growing, didn't take out interest or top up, the account will eventually be dormant (but interest still credited). it's just a bank feature... maybe to protect your account from unauthorized access.

so just bear with it and call them up to reactivate. then again, if you're not doing any transactions, there's no need to reactivate.

Maybank's isavvy 2% is for incremental balances only right? How to get 2% for every month? Do u keep transferring out every alternate month?

The iSavvy promotion interest is usually every 2 months and on the incremental balance only. Need to get another iSavvy account or iSavvy-i account to transfer for alternate months to get the interest. Might not be 2% all the time though. Interest announcement comes out every 2 months at start of the promotional month.

Oh must have another account, iSavvy-i, so as to transfer the funds after 2 months? can we transfer to another account besides Maybank?

Of course. You can park the funds in any account for those 2 months and transfer in again at the next 2-monthly promotion. Can go to the the iSavvy thread to ask further questions

Last night at this time, saw this account here. then went to Citibank website and put up a request to open it. This morning got a call for arranging for paper works, and got it done in half an hour. Account opened by noon. Very fast.
