Citibank Maxigain Savings Account

Live chat and was told my account is inactive! No where in the apps I can see that my acct is inactive leh..... anyhow bye bye Citi...

Oh no.... :-(
Try $10 and $1 also cannot....

In the Citi bank app, I used the “Transfer” feature.

No issue to receive the money immediately for an earlier $300 transfer I did.
for receiving party, what is the value date ... ?

i did mine and value date is tomorrow, 2 Dec.

Transferred all out and called the hotline to close account.
Gave up bonus interest expected to credit on 31 dec?

just tried to transfer money out and the account got locked
also happened to me while using the Citi Mobile Token to add a new Payee .. everything was correct but system says wrong code input

Live Chat says bcos the online banking still reading my physical token (which I no longer use)

have to reset password on Citi online banking

inactive just log in to website version and click activate only again

if u never transfer in or transfer out money for like around 6 months, the acc will be termed as "inactive", a bit lame , but easily fixed

Live Chat said he has de-registered my Physical Token ... but Mobile Token code is still incorrect !!

I FAST transferred the Funds out and close my account at the branch.

Surprising the Citi Officer told me that there is still interest for today and will be refunding me in Cash.

Also have issue with my physical token.
In the end... go by the hard way ... do transfer $10k at a time..no need the token.

need to bring anything to close account at branch? I drop them a message to close the account in the internet banking keyima?

dont need to pay money to close maxigain unless you open the account less than 6 months, you need pay $50.
