I don't understand this T&C. I already have FastSaver-i. Can I just FAST from POSB to Why Wait FD? Coz if I transfer from FastSaver-i to Why Wait FD then it's not considered fresh funds already.

<Transfer from other banks in Singapore via FAST to your new CIMB FastSaver-i
Account for your WWFD-i placement.

If do online placement no need fresh funds acc to T&Cs number 5.

I also already have existing fast saver and my funds already inside...unless I need to tranf to POSB and then open FD?

Oh I read #3 & #4 and overlooked #5..that means I can just transfer from FastSaver to Why Wait FD.

Noticed that the promo until 31 Jan. Could it be CNY Feb they having better promo? But seems like cimb offer highest amongst other banks at 1.9%.

I'm ok with both. But more towards Why Wait as the interest gets credited upon placement of FD.

How I run road? I also cannot withdraw the FD via iBanking before the term mature. Withdraw at counter, they will deduct the interest accordingly.

If I interpret correctly, Why Wait will credit the interest once FD is placed. The other one must wait until mature then interest will be credited.

Thanks! Hmm wonder what’s the point of offering both. Won’t all go for why wait? Since now both interest rate is 1.90% for 12 months
