ohh...today's promotion is 1.8% for advance, and another 1.5% for 800/mth spending for 3 months. this is the best hurdle account!

so the spend bonus only comes in after 3 months?

Bonus Interest and Additional Bonus Interest (as the case may be) will be credited into an Eligible Account in SGD by the end of the second month following the Relevant Month in which the Bonus Interest of Additional Bonus Interest (as the case may be) was accrued. In all cases, Eligible Customers must satisfy all the conditions of this Promotion before any Bonus Interest or Additional Bonus Interest (as the case may be) is paid.

>> By end of March

to earn Jan interest, i must spend 800 in Nov Dec Jan?
>> Just need to spend $800 for the month that you want to earn interest for. Example - to be eligible for Jan Bonus Spending Interest, you will need to spend $800 in Jan Only.

thanks. what is this cycle everyone is talking about?
although 1.8 + 1.5 is better than scb bonussaver 3.13, it seems like the long wait might not justify the interest. esp if there is a change to the min spend eligibility...

The Cycle refer to the step up bonus months that we signed up.

For me I think the wait is still justifiable. Once you had sign up for the Promotion Cycle, the Spending amount will be locked in for that Cycle.

Previously the Spending amount is only $500, $800 was only change recently.

but the bonus interest is based on the incremental top up. so does it mean i have to put in take out every alternate month? thanks

Each Cycle has a reference month, you can read the last point of the TnC. eSaver also has reference month.
