GE just launched a 5-year plan. 2.7% guaranteed returns and principal held to maturity.

Adding on to the bros who mentioned about the Great270 plan, there's 2 option to which you can choose in receiving the survival benefits.

The First Option -
@ 2.70% of Single Premium (paid-out per annum)

The Second Option - to accumulate the survival benefit yield
@ 2.72% of Single Premium (based on a non-guaranteed interest rate of 3% per annum)

But DBS is hardly the only culprit. Look at how UOB and OCBC compete overseas, versus the low rates paid to SG depositors.

Perhaps that's why ICBC pays higher interest rates for RMB here than in the PRC.
