I also don't like the pattern of Maybank in recent years.
Anyway 2% p.a. is for 24 months placement.

Doesn't seem too attractive

but many other accounts e.g. DBSP and UOB must keep min $500 , arent those worse...

i never tried with UOB/ DBS before but some says banks says they may mark it as overdraft, next time when u deposit, they will auto deduct straightaway

17 Jan today updated with 2.05% promo with the annoying 10% in account criteria. Any comments?

People should just avoid banks that come out with all kind of "patterns" and hidden clauses and terms and conditions. It is obvious they are just trying to lure in the gullible.

Is there any difference between icbc time deposit and step up deposit if i wanna park my funds for 1 year with them? Given that step up is 2.1%
