Why cannot be allocate first, know the exact sum, then pay up within a certain time frame ? Super inefficient way of doing things .... especially in a productivity conscious nation like SG.

Sometimes I wonder what our civil servants eat for their meals .... yet are overpaid and draining the country's limited resources.

You need to go to the branch and open an account and activate internet banking. Then you can use internet banking to place fixed deposit.

Especially their main branch raffles place cheekopek ahtiong male manager. When you go to that branch to withdraw upon maturity , he will interrogate you like a police interrogation to try to frighten you. Then slip in a promo from their bank to try to get you to stay with them.

This looks like a common treatment to people who wants to withdraw upon maturity. Toa Payoh branch also same. This just pissed off the customers. Hope they see this thread and start to educate their branch people not to continue this.

Do they allow instructions to credit principal and interest to their savings/current account ? Then no need to see their face when mature. Just transfer out.
