useful. so 'best' FD rates are 1.85%-1.9%; other than Maybank's 2% but with terms & conditions.

With every 10k in the Maybank FD need $1,000 in the CASA, locked for the same period. So minimum is $22,000 needed for this 'promotion'

Just a note, how come no Bank of China (BOC) in this list?

Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!

Think Maybank is you have to put 10% in saving account, also they pay the interest out front. Average is not too bad. Especially if your age already reach 55 as saving account interest also higher.

Yes, current offer is 2.1% for 9 months. Minimum 20K.

Thanks. Quick calc for 22k, 20k in FD and 2k in savings using https://www.singapore-bank.net/fixed...st-calculator/

Interest earned on 20k at 2.10% p.a. for 9 mth = $315
Interest earned on 2k at 0.19% p.a. for 9 mth = $3

Total interest earned on 22k = $318 over 9 mth = ... um... p.a. how to calc?

For comparison using same calculator, (if got such product) SCB 9-mth 1.80% p.a. on 22k = $297
