Better off to deposit with CIMB:

Fastsaver: 1% pa for $50K. No gimmicks and no strings attached.
Starsaver: 0.8% pa with no cap. No gimmicks and no strings attached.

Just want to ask your opinion. Say I have about $70k in BOC. The bonus interest is applicable to the first $60k however anything above $60k and up to a million gets 0.6%.

Do you think it's better to put anything above $60k into CIMB Fastsaver to earn the 1%?

Thank you.

Abv 60k is 0.6% bonus plus base which gives 1% actually i think. so no diff

It's actually 1% for BOC - 0.6% bonus + 0.4% base

Just note that the 0.6% is not a given, u need to fulfill 1 out of the 3 criteria set for

You mean to say that anything above $60k will be 0.6%+base(depending on the amount) when one of the 3 criteria is fulfilled right?

If only the credit salary criteria is fulfilled, is OCBC 360 still the highest interest rate at 1.25% (inclusive of 0.05% base interest)?

Thanks.

I think BOC Smartsaver is also similar or better if you have large deposits...
