Each unique e$aver account always have to skip one cycle. You'd need the timeout to re-establish the new reference ADB anyway.
From joint account to single account(skipped last cycle) should be ok?

BOC website still showing expired promotion dates. You sure deal still on?
It was valid as of the time of my post yesterday - at least at the Raffles Place branch.

I asked the staff when it would be over and she replied that they haven't been informed of any end date yet so it could be anytime.

U may be able to get 1.55% for 3 months till 31 Oct if you put with HSBC Premier

And if you spend $500 on the debit card, you get a blended rate of 1.87% on $300k.

U may be able to get 1.55% for 3 months till 31 Oct if you put with HSBC Premier

Total 300k.

1st 100k at 1.55% + 0.97% = 2.52% if u spend $500 on debit card
2nd 100k at 1.55%
3rd 100k at 1.55%

Average for 300k is (2.52+1.55+1.55)/3 = 1.873% and that is your effective interest rate for $300k.

MAS may raised SDIC protection from the current $50k to $75k.
It was raised from $20k to $50k in 2011.
