just some weeks ago, GE was offering 3 yrs for 2.07% principal and interest gauranteed... now interest seems to be getting higher... maybe wait a while more and see first...

I think CNY offers are no longer a thing. Who needs offers when people will deposit money into banks for 0.05% pa (Li Chun)

no lah, just need to open a joint savings account with my mum and from my side ibanking can apply for extra 0.25% for FD

So the best no gimmicks deal for now is from Ah Tiong and Ah Neh bank.

12 Month Fixed Deposit 1.4% p.a. Minimum S$50,000.

Now at my favourite Ah Neh bank to collect my grains while drinking free kopi. 'Bollywood actress' staff still here hahaha.

Unfortunately defecting to Ah Tiong bank for this round of 'seed funding'.

OCBC just added this offer: 1.40% pa for 24 months, minimum $20k.
This month's Singapore Savings Bond beats that, for the first ~$40K anyway (likely maximum placement per individual, if there's similar oversubscription compared to last month).
