Park at cimb fast saver first if u wanna wait. It's 1% interest

Tapping collective wisdom of pple here...

Will rates go up for FDs on 1 Apr?

Fed increased rate in mid Mar but banks here seem to be flushed with liquidity and well capitalised. More rate hikes in US expected to come in 2017 but our savings rates here seem to stay low...

I have a sum maturing tomorrow. Thinking if i should lock in whatever rates i can get tomorrow or wait till 1 Apr...

All, thanks for inputs. I searched online and finally parked some funds with Maybank iSavy. There is promo till 31 May. No lock in. No spend required. Min $20k.

Below $200k, 1.18% and above 1.3%.
Transfer out of iSavy is limited to 50k daily limit?

the 1.3% is 2 parts
- promo 0.8% till 31 May based on incremental ADB with reference month Feb and on going base .5%

Need maintain min 6 months account or have early closure fees

What do you mean Esaver no interest after 1april?

April's fool right?

he already said ma.. he means those who took part in esaver last round and don't have another esaver account to play around with.. they have to park their funds somewhere else for the next 2 months

New Apr--May SCB e$aver promotion is out, with lower IR rates indeed :

1.15% / 1.20% / 1.30% for principal tiers
<50k / 50k-200k / >200k

sigh...

Luckily i ditched esaver halfway & went for POSB 1.45% instead (last till 31 june.)

Hopefully by then interests will be better

One thing about UOB is that their FAST is only $15K per day, so its really inconvenience when u want to transfer $ around.
