Property experts why freehold psf is not that much higher than 99 years lease?

The problem would start when the leasehold is 30th+ years old, not 99th year.

Whatever holding, the faster you go the happier your adult children?
I can't dispute this. Old folks need higher medical maintenance too.

Most are not like that.
If you are $$ ready for the retirement, fairly healthy,medisave, got $$$ left for them .

Be prepared to live to 80s.

I can't dispute this. Old folks need higher medical maintenance too.

I have seen it. Once the old man died, the bungalow at Hillside Dr gone within a month. According to my friend, other siblings had been eyeing for the money for a very long time. It's OK. The old man did something good i.e. left behind a freehold property for his children.

How many here got freehold GCB for children to fight ?
The parents should make it black & white in will.

Though saw in the press children fighting over
old HDB flats.
