Some questions about DBS Multi Currency Account

I'm a foreigner working in Singapore. I got some USD cash notes as annual gift from my family. I don't want to just leave it there forever.

My plan is:

1. Open a DBS Multi Currency account (I'm an existing customer so I think I don't need to maintain the minimum S$3k?).
2. Deposit USD into this account. Question: Do I need to go to a branch and ask for help, or I can just use a deposit machine?
3. Invest in other stuffs. I'm thinking of robo advisor like Stashaway or open a Saxo account.

So basically I just deposit USD and send it away right away. What do you think? Are there any fee I'm not aware of? Thank you very much!
