When you buy price go down when you sell price go up. Till this day even gurus cannot understand so they DCA which is another form of martingale.

A sense for market sentiment or trend. Sell on uptrend and buy on down trend. It's hard to sell at the peak and buy at the bottom as there is no tool that can predict the future accurately.

Buy and hold long term. Don't time the market. Best strategy IMO
