The maybank saveup seems need a minimum giro amount monthly? And giro to pay maybank visa platinum will be excluded, based on statement below?

Minimum total transaction amount of S$300 per month. For payment to other Billing Organizations, payment to Maybank is excluded

Maximum effective interest rate (EIR) on the One Account is 1.60% p.a. for deposits of S$50,000,

Like that isn't the SCB better?

Yes.

http://www.uob.com.sg/assets/pdfs/pe...ts/tnc_cts.pdf

4.11 A One Account will be eligible for Bonus Interest A if the Primary Holder successfully charges a minimum required sum in a calendar month on retail transactions to such UOB credit card and/or UOB debit card as determined by us, which is issued to the Primary Holder as the main cardholder (“Condition 1”). For this purpose, retail transactions charged by the Primary Holder’s supplementary cardholder(s) will be accrued to and aggregated under the Primary Holder’s principal card. A transaction is successfully charged if it has been posted in the Primary Holder’s statement as falling within a calendar month.

But note for the rebate on the UOB One card, all the supplementary card spend will only aggregated and counted as 1 transaction. Need at least another 2 transactions on main card to meet the min 3 transaction requirement for UOB One card rebate.
