Thumbs down

Looks like the big winners are The King's Speech and Inception, both with 4 wins though the latter only won for technical awards.
The biggest surprise is that first time director nominee Tom Hooper won over David Fincher for The Social Network.
Well at least Natalie won
Inception and black swam lose to king's speech sob- and I dun think I like king's speech's plot
The Academy voters comprise mainly of older members who may not appreciate genre/niche films like Black Swan and Inception. The King's Speech is a very well-crafted film but may not appeal to the younger generation.
booo...!! the academy shows again how it is still in living in the last century... and seriously outdated...

regards,
wacky

No matter how liberal the Americans want us to think they are, they are still very much conservative. I'm not surprised by the list of winners. The perfect world will have Inception and Social Network dominating the awards.

Thr Oscars are ****ed up. Seriously Tom Hooper and The King's Speech over David Fincher and The Social Network? Thats really nice of them to pick a film in which its quality is probably at the bottom few of the 10. Nice man. And Natalie Portman and Colin Firth.....yawnzzzz
