My unit's definition of "clean fatigues" was No. 4 uniform. 'Clean' was reference to the lack of vest and helmet. Like reddevil would say, best to check with your unit.

Well said.

If you end up in wrong attire, you canít blame HWZ for it.

if first day reporting kind, I doubt will be vest slack. Likely will be no4 and headgear, thats it. Cos you have to get pass guardhouse. Now a days can go past in vest slacks?

you can always wear a army vest inside and adjust accordingly later on.

think just call ur unit hotline and clarify easier.

Clean fatigue is Number 4, with headdress, without the vest/sbo/field-pack.

I dun think clean fatigue is admin top with number 4 bottoms.

Anyway, one can just put a shirt inside a small civilian backpack or something, can easily convert to vest-slacks if the need arises to do some menial work.
