Hello those who went for doc submission on 6 Aug. Anyone got call up for panel interview yet?

Hi,

for those who applied for direct entry inspector before, what is the timeline? I applied online on 1st of August, till now no news. is it no chance alr?

Applied for JO on 17th July, submitted docs on 7th Aug, panel interview on 20th Aug..

Hi! How is the interview? May I know what kind of questions they will ask?
There were 4 people in the room. 3 of them will ask the questions. The questions were the normal interview questions. For example, tell me abt urself.. was there an incident at ur previous workplace that you faced with a stressful situation, what did u do about it.. what were ur role at ur previous workplace.. then are u okay with working without ur phone ..
They also asked what other jobs i have applied for. They kept emphasizing that its shiftwork and not a normal 9 to 5 working hours.

Yup..thats most of what i cn remember.

Yeah i was pretty nervous but i just kept my cool. The officers were okay. Quite smiley but still look scary hahaha! U applied alr?

It’s the smiling part that is the most scary 😂 Yes, now waiting for panel interview if I got selected.

Update: Went for the panel interview recently. Now let’s hope both of us get it heh.

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask this but just wanna check if there are any opportunities for rotation after a certain number of years of service in ICA. eg. transferred to HQ to work in areas like finance/HR, handle recruitments etc?

Hello guys. Check with you guys I submit my application for ICA Direct Entry Sergent on 18 Sep. But I forget to upload my resume online. During interview I will bring my physical copy of resume. Is it still okay?

Just wondering - does ICA take private uni grads for their Direct Entry Inspector scheme? I know it's generally hard to get into public sector with a private degree but would like to find out more

Yes possible but slim chance unless urs is FCH maybe..
