Yeah correct, i already email them but no response so abit worried
Same here, this is the first time they implement this online self booking thing instead of waiting for the clinic to call us so some may experience this kind of issue. Just wait for them to reply.

Based on other people's timeline, if everything goes well, it can range from few weeks to 2-3 months so I think it depends. When did you attend your medical? DES or DEI?

I just got an offer for ICA-DES, surprisingly the whole process was faster than what I thought would be.

Timeline:

16 February 2023 - Applied on Career@Gov
3 March 2023 - Document Submission
14 March 2023 - Email notifying me that I don't need to do the psychometric test since I did it before.
28 March 2023 - Email for Trial & Online Panel Interview
3 April 2023 - Trial Interview
10 April 2023 - Online Panel Interview
12 April 2023 - Fill up supplementary forms, Annex A and other forms.
18 April 2023 - Email to book medical screening
24 April 2023 - Medical Screening at Parkway Shenton
2 May 2023 - Email of Offer by ICA

Hope this can help as a gauge for the whole process, but ultimately it still depends, some may take longer while some may take shorter time.

Hello, just here to share my journey!
DEI application here!

Timeline:

23/2 Applied at Careers@gov
2/3 FormSG submission
7/3 Email for Formal phone call on 14/3
14/3 Formal phone call
22/3 Online Assessment
30/3 supplementary form on careers@gov
30/3 email to schedule panel interview on 6/4
31/3 received email to book medical (unsure why this step is before panel for this batch, maybe due to testing out new system of online booking yourself instead of getting the medical centers to call you)
alot of technical issues here with the booking, booked for 17/4
6/4 panel interview
6/4 night- received email for document checklist and basic course graduation requirement
17/4 medical assessment
8/5 received call to accept offer and email after to confirm offer

Hope this helps anyone!

Anyway, just to add on, I really want to thank everyone here as I followed this thread since the start of my application, reading from 150+ pages onwards, so all your timelines and experiences did help in my application.

To all of you future prospects, here is some of the advice i can give you

1) Read this forum as far back as you want, it will give you some hope HAHA

2) Watch youtube videos on interview tips, resume tips, i watched alot of Careervidz on youtube to formulate my interview answers. ( please dont copy ah, pick out what resonates with you and use it). When you practice your interviews do ask your friend if its fluid or if it sounds too robotic (later they think you chatgpt it)

3) Cant stress this enough but please find a friend or go linkedin and find people who work in the organisation to get a better understanding of what they do, they will give alot of helpful tips and their experiences. ask them what they do on a daily basis.

4) really practice your interviews with someone, focus on
-self intro , why you stand out, what are your strengths, are you detail oriented, leadership skills do help as they will ask you, 'oh i was camp chairperson so i led a group of 20 to plan and execute a camp etc'
- Why you choose ICA, read up on the workplan seminar, know whats happening in the future, technology etc, in other words, please study what the ICA does through and through, not just the recent mothership videos ah
- Be confident, know your strengths, weaknesses, be detailed.
- If you must know, whatever you say might lead them to enquire more on it , so be prepared. For example if i said that i am driven but did not explain further, so naturally they will ask you, how are you driven, give me an example.

5) They might **** test u, ask u questions that are hard to answer, if dont know, dont stutter, say hmm give me a moment to think, just make sure your replies are fluid

6) lastly, smile and be polite, remember to ask questions at the end to engage them, make them remember you.

All the best for everyone who are applying! do let me know if you are part of the june batch as well!

Other background info : i graduated from a local uni with bad GPA (no honours) but i think my interview really carried my ass, so dont be disheartened! Confidence is key!
