Quick question;

My window's closing soon (16 July) but i've only completed 2 RT sessions (due to an operation i had at the start of the year). I am confident of passing my IPPT though, so is it still possible to ask the FCC OC for a test before my 8th RT? If so, can i attend the 7PM session on weekdays, or must i attend the earlier 6PM one?

Thanks for the advice!

My NS portal wrote that the 8th, 14th and 20th booked RT session is a IPPT test. But I only have to clear 19 RT sessions, does that mean throughout my whole RT programme I only have 2 shot at the IPPT test instead of 3??

No. FCC OC is not in any position to perform such administrative policies.

However, u may apply for an RT deferment from your unit, through NS hotline.

Have u already either, attended 1 RT session in this window or, 1 IPT session in your previous window?

It's deducted. That's why you see 19.

Normally 20 RT sessions. Previous window took one IPPT. 20 - 1 = 19

I see...

So I won't be able to take my IPPT on my 20th RT session since I don't even have 20 sessions? Or will my last RT session be an IPPT?

For ippt. Take at Safra the 2.4 is using the running machine? Can I run halfway n fall out? Consider I complete my ippt?

Guys, I got a very very serious question regarding IPT. Is it true that I can only take 3 years of ipt only? In addition, I am so weak that my ippt point is always less than 10.

Example:

1st year - completed 10 sessions of ipt
2nd year - completed 10 sessions of ipt
3rd year - completed 10 sessions of ipt
4th year- cannot take ipt anymore so i need to attempt 1 ippt
5th year - 19 sessions of RT

Any one can advise?

i was excused UL perm and had been skipping chin ups for past IPPTs
With the new IPPT, it's push ups instead
I tried to look for my medical history under ns.sg but can't find it.
Anyone can advise? or those with perm excuse UL would your be excused push up automatically?

And what would be the passing if I am excused pushups.
I know for all 3 stations it's >=51 but how about just taking 2 stations?
Is it 2/3 x 51?

Thanks

I heard there's a change to the system again?

Now IPT 10 sessions considered window cleared rather than having to continue on to RT?
