If Chief is RT warrior how to qualify for IPT ah?

Within same 12 month window muz clear all RT and then only IPT will open up? so means 30 sessions (20 RT + 10 IPT) within a window?

If you opt for IPT then no need RT. There's nothing to qualify for, just book can liao.

If you are already in RT program, you have to complete it first. But why so crazy want to volunteer for IPT in same window? For fun? Just save it for the next window and do your 10 x IPT then.

I have a question. I did my first RT last Sat (30/7), non-IPPT, but the RT allowance (usually $10+) have not been credited into my bank account yet.

So do NSmen still get paid for going RT nowadays?

I don't remember it used to take this long to get the money in. I used to get it 1-2 days after the training. But that was many years ago. Past few years ago i started taking IPT instead and I know u don't get paid for going IPT.

u will still be paid for RT. the duration now is roughly a week.

now IPT is also being paid and it will be roughly a week as well.

do not worry. mindef will never short-change us on such matters.

Thanks for the reply.

Didn't knew IPT is been paid now. @@!

If so, IPT looks more attractive. 10 sessions vs RT's 20 sessions.

If let say after 10 session of IPT u still fail, next year's window still need to take IPPT or IPT right?

BUT even if u fail RT (after 20 sessions), next year window no need to take IPPT right?

attended 10 IPT and u will be cleared regardless whether u pass or fail IPPT or your PPT (Personal Performance Target).

failing to attend 10 IPT will result to 20-D RT sessions in your next window (where D is the number of IPT u attended),

so to say if current window u were to attend 5 IPT, u will be charged and ordered to take 15 RTs on your next window.

in summary, u will have to take a total of 20 sessions (regardless IPT or RT) over a 24-month period. It's just a privilege for you to choose how u want to clear it.

If do RT this window and never pass, I'm auto assigned RT for next window right... I'm not allowed to book ipt
