I am on 500Mbps plan and using DSL7000GRV in living room. Wifi speed quite slow around 20 to 30mbps inside my room. Living room can reach around 40. Will change to FG7003 improve the speed?

The following steps make Aztech DSL7000GRV(S) / DSL7002GRV(S) / FG7003GRV(AC) / FG7009GR(AC) a normal unlocked router.

Step 1:
Log in to Advanced Mode configuration page.

192.168.1.254/singtel
Username: admin
Password: H3ll0t3ch

Step 2:
The pre-installed WAN service/layer 2 interface are all VLAN tagged. Remove all existing WAN service/layer 2 interface entries under Advanced Setup -> ETH.

Step 3:
Create a new WAN service via ETH or WAN for Internet Protocol over Ethernet (IPoE) with NAT and Firewall enabled. Do not set 802.1P Priority and 802.1Q VLAN ID (i.e. Do not VLAN tag this service).

Step 4:
Set the above newly created WAN service/layer 2 interface as the default gateway interface and DNS server interface.

Done.

hi there, Could you help me out with this?

I can't seem to open the 192.168.1.254/singtel as I got 404 Not Found when I do enter this address.

I do able to access 192.168.1.254 without the /singtel. But there's no such thing as username and password prompted for me to login.

I wanted to use the router to support other mobile network.

thanks!

Anybody know how to turn off the dhcp or DNS. I followed this method and it seems to conflict with my main SingTel router then connection keeps DC until I DC the netgear one
