I have tried 5 minutes but it doesnt seem to work yet. Im probably going to turn it off for at night while I sleep.

Just checking if it is not permanent, so I wouldnt have to bother with dialling the M1 support line as it is a pain.

Don't need to wait the whole night, the most 15mins should suffice. Try connecting your PC directly to port#1 and do the power cycle on the ONT, if you obtain IP address meant problem is router related.

No harm waiting for comex period but instead of signing up at the show just go to any M1 outlet, same perks with significantly less queue

Do we get a router when we recontract? I had recontracted my new fibre twice but have never received a router from them except the one that came with the sign up. Recently the router just went dead and need to find a replacement. Sucks that I just recontracted like couple of months back

It depends whether you opt for the router or not. For the basic router, its $5/mth extra. Unless, you sign up during a promo which gives a free router.

For 1Gbps plan then it will come with a router but for 500 Mbps plan there is no router. Most people will top up $5/mth to get the router or buy their own router. May be ASUS AC86U.

If you want to maximise the usage of your lyra trio, can consider setting it up in aimesh mode with ac88u.

Yeah man,,
i got the tribang velop from M1
after using velop... the speed are inpressive...wifi connect also pretty fast...
never look back since then

i am not sure the diff between 2 and 3. but i had recently bought linksys velop from carousell to replace my existing airties mesh. the linksys velop is definitely better in term of wireless coverage and performance than airties mesh
