...why not contact m1 instead of getting help from us??? We are not m1 technician and beside that the ONT is definitely under telecom property and they have already configure it nicely for u.

ONT not like router, can suka suka buy one and hope it works...

Like ZrE0_Cha0s has said, why not just contact M1 Tech Support? This should be the first thing you do after you have done basic troubleshooting on your own.

Call M1 for replacement, the ONT/modem is not given to u, its loan to u, so any problem with it, just call M1 for replacement/troubleshooting.

ONT belong to M1 and under their care. You can call them to replace it.

This ONT is quite good brand and so many ISPs in the world are using it. It is not rubbish. This manufacturer is quite a big company. M1 is also quite helpful.

Just FYI, no matter what ISP you subscribed too, the ONT belongs to them. Once you terminate your services, you have to return it to them.

If your black Huawei ONT is faulty, get this chance to replace with the latest white HG8240G ONT.

It is a energy conserving model and loaded with latest firmware, new PON config according to the M1 tech who came to my aunt's house to replace (FOC).

Very surprisingly, the DL speed improved by near 100Mbps despite still using the N56U router. It runs cooler too then the old model.

If my ONT still working well, can request to change to the new one when I recontract? Anyone tried that before?
