All of a sudden my myrepublic connection died for the last 2 hours. The ont is Alcatel, and only the power and optical LEDs are lit. Everything else is off. I cannot get an internet connection at all. The asus router seems fine because I can connect to it but the browser keeps saying I cannot access anything

Sent from Xiaomi MI MAX 3 using GAGT
I experienced the same problem. The fault is from a broken fibre connection to my premises. A joint site inspection with OpenNet was done and connection back to normal when the fibre connection repaired. Suggest you call up OpenNet on this problem.

Did you try with direct connection from ONT?

new line now? wait for IT show

hello,

Need some advice from you guys.

We're moving out to a new place on the start of March. We already decided to sign up with MyRepublic (their deco m9 package). Turnover is this week, so technically, we can apply for a new internet line now (the MR sales rep said from time we apply it'll be around 10 days, IIRC). But with the IT show on the horizon & the possibilities of good offers/freebies, is it worth waiting maybe 3-4 weeks without home internet before signing up?

TIA.

If you can wait, no harm waiting for the upcoming IT Show.

Personally i can't wait for that long w/o internet but it's entirely up to you. Maybe you have a lot of mobile data? But anyway, if you sign up MR from their website, use my referral code C1091123 can get a one time $40 off your bill. More info here.

Currently using the asus rt ac1200 router from 2yrs ago, just recontracted for another 2yrs at $42.xx and it comes with a free MyrepublicAc2200 router.

Wondering if i shud take the hassle to change to the new router(Halo) since the old one is still working.

Any performance issues thus far?

Manage to sign up for MyRepublic gamer plan over the weekends at IT show anything to expect from it?

As I saw they were giving ROG - AC5300 but happen to chance upon AX1110 😥 by any chance it would be better if I sell the ac5300 and swap over to AX1110 would it give me better range and streaming quality? Hope to hear some advice!
