The 26 dollar plan refer to WhizComms 300mbps plan.. not Starhub cable/fibre.

Need to factory reset the router to default settings.

And to avoid any vlan settings as cable broadband have no vlan settings, if any.

100Mbps cable broadband @ $39.90/month No Contract

Starhub Cable Broadband 100 Mbps No Contract is now $39.90 /month.

> 100Mbps cable broadband @ $39.90/month No Contract

It is no longer $19.90 /month as stated previously.

Exact same pricing for 1Gbps fibre broadband $39.90 /month.

Not encouraging any new sign-up to cable broadband..

Since there is no contract available anymore the price remain the same for those on either 19.90 or 22.90 plans after contract ended.. until cable network cease.

Checked with Starhub, when contract expired, will be treated as new sign up so it's going to be at $39.90 at 100 mbps. Sign, contract ending in a few days time. Need to look for new ISP during Comex. Cable is not cost effective at this price.

Since Starhub have just revised their usual price for cable broadband to $39.90 then this would take effect.

Already cable TV also no longer offer contract and their cable TV price would be the usual price which is higher than the contract.

Those Cable TV subscribers who do not switch to Fibre TV will have to pay the usual pricing which is $14+ more than contract price.

Effectively pushing cable subscribers to switch or face the higher subscription cost.

Starhub come out with the new Cable Broadband prices on 1st Sep 2018 for $39.90 /month.

Hence this new pricing has effectively take into immediate effect.

Starhub pricing after contract expired would based on existing promotion pricing as stated in their T&C or previous contract pricing, whichever is higher.

Prior to the latest new pricing it was advertised as 100Mbps at $19.90 no contract.

Even their CSO would mentioned the same;
Yes, you'd still be able to enjoy the same price after the end of your contract.
