Hello! Indeed you did. Though space is critical with a 128gb ssd and some updates can be very large, i believe this is the secondary point of what he meant to get across during our walkthrough: that you should go with the option where windows informs you of updates before downloading and installing them, rather than just automatically downloading and installing every single update available. May users simply update everthing or select all and update, which can be an an issue with vga drivers, where the newest version is not always the most suitable or stable/compatible.

Our default recommendation is to tell users to use windows update via the 3rd option on the list, where you are informed before an update and downloaded and applied.

Noted. I usually only perform Windows updates related to Microsoft products and seldom update any non Microsoft OS or Office updates. I have set my Windows Updates to "Notify me if there is/are any updates for me to decide when and should I download" and not Automatically.

However, should there be a need for me to upgrade my 128GB SSD perhaps in the future, can I make an advance appointment and bring my XG13 down to replace the SSD and have your great experts migrate the OS from the current 128GB SSD to the new 256GB or perhaps even bigger capacity?

irrc, theres also the windows shadow copy, which should be disabled [ deleted as well ]

BUT BUT BUT!

caveat is : you need to have your own [ ghost img, etc ]

then theres the old cache, which may go beyond 3 gb at times.

128gb, frankly, is quite a decent size, thus i wouldn't be worrying about space unless windows has been set to automatic update, etc with shadow copy here and there etc.

BTW, if you've 8gb of ram, you might wana turn off hibernate : it will have a .hib file or something, thats 8 gb worth...

just my 2cents worth

Thanks for your great advise :)

I never like hibernation. I always turn it off when I first get any of my notebooks :P

Halo is already available. Demo set will be at funan tommorow. Dressing options are similar to the rest, and we're working on an online interface for it.

Wow, the Halo looks really well-specced for a professional grade notebook which should still be able to handle light-medium gaming. I don't think I've ever seen a model with wide gamut 14" FHD panel, and the Halo is priced at under $2,000 to boot. I just got the X15S and I'm seriously debating getting a Halo for school/work too. GDI just take my money already =:p
