Eluktronics (the chassis base for Aftershock's VAPOR Series) have updated their own chassis and rebranded under the "Covert Gamer" range which bears the following upgrades:

- Intel Core i7-10875H (8 Cores 16 Threads)
- Up to Nvidia GeForce RTX2080 Super GPU with 8GB GDDR6 14GB/s
- Up to 91WHr battery
- 240Hz FHD Display as standard parts
- Type-C Thunderbolt 3 port included in ALL models

MAX-15 and MAX-17 have been announced with these upgrades scheduled to go on sale next week, expect Aftershock to follow suit earliest mid-April with their own refreshed VAPOR 15 (based MAX-15) and VAPOR 17 Pro (based MAX-17) iterations.
Wow!!!! Super cool!!! Canít wait for preorder
Mag15 no update? Mag15 is vapor pro 15 right?

i wonder how long 94wh will last while gaming.

for my aftershock laptop with 73wh, i can easily do more than 8 hours of coding/videos.

Saw some review was saying 4hrs+ in benchmark for the 94wh but different GPU will get different results

Any idea if the laptops still having common motherboard problems?

I remember some years back i bought the S series and there were motherboard issues not once but 2 or 3 times. I remember having to bring down the laptop to bendemeer each time and its quite a hassle as i stay in the west side.

I am thinking of investing in a desktop and a laptop with them but i am worried of such issues cropping up.

By any chance, the Vapor 15X could come with a larger 90+W battery in the future?

Forge 15R

Anyone tried their Forge 15R (AMD desktop CPU) with Max Performance GTX 2070? Any thermal issue?

Thanks!

Iím curious too, but leaning towards 2060. Was wondering how far the performance will be compared to a desktop of similar set up (ryzen 3600 with desktop 2060)

Thanks !

The performance should be consistent with the desktop setup since Forge 15R is using the desktop CPU. I would think the desktop version will generate more heat than mobile version of the CPU, hence the concern if the laptop cooling is enough to prevent thermal throttling.

Have not found any review on this notebook yet... give a heads-up if you see one

Thanks!

Which models are using desktop cpu? Or only Forge 15R?

Would the forge 15R or VaporX be a better option, assuming both with the same GPU?
