Its 100000% still working, its just that some products wont work with IPRICE30, another promo code would be LENOVOPRO/STUDENT but discount is not as much

Nope, any store the discount works, student store, lenovopro store all works, its just that its limited to certain products/configs.

they do give better discounts on special events but not every events, last year it was NDP promo, so far this year it's 9.9

Then they restrict what promo codes can stack - eg. CHECKOUT.

But if you use other codes like IPRICE30 then they'll likely apply it to the base price and not give you the event base discount.

So if the event discount is better than, say, 30%, it's a better deal.
