I asked the sales person. Dont think mine is the 144

The 144 is only for

15.6" (396mm) FHD (1920x1080), anti-glare, LED backlight, IPS,
300 nits, 16:9 aspect ratio, 72% gamut, 144Hz (GTX 1050 Ti models only)
If this is the specs, I rather you don't waste your time. Even with a 1080p high refresh rate screen (144Hz), the graphic card will not be able to crank out frame rates that matches the panel. In fact, this graphic card will likely struggle to maintain 60 FPS in newer games.

Look for something that fits your budget and ticks the key points that matters most to you. Getting the best laptop is ideal for sure, but each one will have areas that the manufacturers cut to meet tight budget. This is the reality.

I think I will settle with just the default panel. The games are merely for my son who plays PUBG, roblox etc nothing too fancy for now

I am waiting for Y540 instead if specs is better. I was told price will be 10% more than Y530

I’m looking at asus 504.
Almost the same spec just that diff company.

But wonder if asus 504 has a better filling system fan as compare to dell n acer anot
