Lappy suddenly no sound

Few weeks ago, discover some static noise coming out from my laptop. Restart my lappy and back to normal so never think much about it.

Today while watching Netflix, suddenly the audio is like lagging... like the character was talking but the sound comes out only like 2 secs later.

Then the static sound start again and finally no sound at all now.

Other notable malfunctions : Facebook Gameroom and YouTube cannot be loaded

But theres nothing wrong with the device manager.... anyway to test what is really wrong ?

P/S : My laptop is 12 months old.

Most likely internal speaker is spoil.
Have u tried with a 3.5mm jack to test if mobile speaker spoil or internal speaker spoil

If this happen after recent Windows Updates, then you may have to consider to roll-back to see if it works or not.

You can check if there's an issue with your audio device drivers.

Right-click 'Computer', select 'Properties' and click 'Device Manager'.

There will be a list of drivers for each laptop component. Check if the audio ones are working properly, double click it and it should show you what the current status is.

If there are no driver issues, then you may need to check if the issue is Windows Update related like @eric3743 was saying.

Lastly, run a virus scan on your laptop, virus can impact your the laptop sound too.

Laptop speaker blown....if under warranty, just send it in for new one... remember not to max out your speaker volume.

If no warranty, just head to any sim lim shop to have it replace.. should not be expensive. Cheer!
