Laptop for Mother

Hi guys hope to get a recommendation. Planning to buy a laptop for my mum.

Basically she wants a big screen, so I guess 15" would be nice. Only going to be used for movies, and some very light MS Office usage.

The cheaper the better.

Any recommendations welcome. Thanks!

What's your budget. Cheap is relative. Fhd screen? Budget ones aren't fhd.

Under 800 would be nice.

Don't need super high res screen. She's mostly streaming those drama anyway.

Would she be using at home or outside mostly.

At home may required good internet connection on whether wired or wireless where the adapter concern.
Wireless adapter ideally is ac type for to have 5GHz bandwidth, depend on the distance between laptop and router wireless.
This refer to mostly on streaming shows on the laptop instead on storing on the harddisk space, mainly for offline watching.

Whereas outside mostly there do have laptop with SIM card slot for internet access for active streaming, if really need to.
And most important is the battery required to last few hours.
Also to take note on the weight of the laptop should she be moving around often.

Screen wise is the resolution as in fhd as mentioned for best watching in video shows.

Laptop is preferred over tablet especially on performance and video watching.

This is the only time I would say an Ideapad 15" is fine.
