ryzen mobile really needs to support higher frequency ram and not reserve memory like this imo.
8gb but only 6gb usable. should be dynamically assigned like intel gpu

Does this support charging over the USB-C port?

Too many power plugs and adapters to carry when travelling. Ideally would like all devices to support USB-C PD charging to minimize the number of chargers to carry around

Get round tip adapter , should work with any PD.
Round tip or Slim Tip can buy the Usb C powerbank.

Just get an adapter from Aliexpress. I use one together with my Innergie 60C and Uni C-to-C 3 metre cable for my T460S.

yeh sure u can. but why does it have to reserve memory when intel igpus has had dynamic allocation for so long?

Intel integrated / AMD vega10 should shared with total memory.
Let say 4GB of memory already taken 2gb gone into integrated graphics.

What is the diff between S540 ($935) and S340 ($765)? Both specs are the same - ryzen 7 3700u, 4+4gb ram, 512gb ssd, 14" FHD? Only thing that was not stated for S340 is the screen. S540 states IPS but not for S340.
