Btw i also want to ask usually how long will it take to service this kind of problem huh, i never expect the laptop to die so early, i also hope they don't charge me because i quite pissed off to be honest, hope i don't explode when they suddenly tell me need to cough up 500 or 800 for the screen

I would explode if i were u. Its manufacturer's defect and defo under warranty. So dont worry. Unless the CSO got no brains they'll definitely fix it for u for free. Bring it in ASAP. Est. 1-2 weeks for such a replacement esp. if they have to ship in the parts

Here's another pic, this was supposed to be the start up screen, by right should be just black with the logo

It went back to normal just now but after i backup and restart i notice that it's actually retaining the previous information on screen somehow, it's not a burn in

Anyway tomorrow still need to crawl up at 7 to go song song gao their service centre at jurong zzz

You might not need to backup your data. Some laptop manufacturers allow you to keep your drive while servicing is being done.

Check with the manufacturer before doing so as the warranty can become void in some situations. It's your responsibility to confirm before proceeding!

Won't it better to find out the root cause of the problem before that?
