Failed one module last semester

Hi, it is my last semester and i failed one module (first ever). Anyone got advice on what should i do to prevent taking one more semester? I applied for review of examination results but based on many people, this approach is not reliable.

I didn't personally experienced it before.

What my friend said he did was to go to your respective academic office and see if they can slot in the module which u failed tgt w the new modules u will be taking, next semester.

Means u do the next semester 's mod concurrently w the failed module.

The issue is the exam date, quiz dates, hopefully they dun clash. May be close tgt.

Sorry to hijack but I've a similar question.

I have a core module which I am not confident will get a pass (it is graded, 4AU). Also, it seems this module is a prerequisite for ALL my Year 2 modules. So I'm wondering if I really fail this mod, then will I be able to tabao for next sem (Y2S1) and do the Y2S1 mods concurrently?

My current understanding is that I'd be stuck in Y1 and have to wait till I can clear just that 1 mod before I can be promoted to Y2 and qualified to do those Y2 mods. Also not sure if this module I mentioned is even offered in Sem 1, afaik it is a Sem 2 mod.

Can anyone enlighten me on this?

1. Your official Y1/Y2/Y3 doesn't really matter, they only affect star planner date
2. Requisite can't be taken if you failed prerequisite, you will be removed from the course once your result is updated. (only some can be taken together)
3. There is always an exception, you will have to beg for it to try. Ask for help from the academic/course coordinator to let you take both. (I know a friend who managed to do this)
4. If it was me, I would have tried to convince the coordinator of the course I failed to help me out by passing me, explaining the seriousness of how it would impact me.
5. What's done have been done, focus on your exam
