Question NTU EEE - Software Engineering

Just to ask NTU EEE alumni:

If you are currently working in Software Engineering field, may I know:

1. What courses do you need to take up (whether in NTU EEE or outside) in order to work as a Software Engineer? Is it necessary to take EE4001 Software Engineering?

2. What other skills (other than programming languages such as Python) that you need to pick up in order to work as a Software Engineer? Where and when do you pick up those skills?

3. Is it difficult for EEE graduates to work as Software Engineers given that they do not from Computer Science (CS) or Computer Engineering (CE) background?

4. Generally, are companies willing to hire EEE students to work as Software Engineers?

Thank you for your reply.
