1.Would like to know what is the intake amount like?

2.What's the minimum results (G.P.A) needed to enter (cum work experience)

3.Will there be interviews?

Hi OP, I am a current Y2 PT Mech Eng student in NTU.
In response to your question,

1, Not thoroughly sure about the intake but seems to be around 70 per year.

2, I got in with a GPA of 2.5 with a Diploma in Mech Eng from SP and was working for 1 year after graduating.

3. There was an admission interview for me, and the interviewers were brutally honest that the purpose of the interview was due to my low GPA and to assess my capability to cope with NTU's curriculum.

You need to know that juggling between working and PT studies in one of the top universities is going to be hell and I have to admit that I am struggling to cope with delivering at work and attending school in the evening. If and only if you have no other choice, I strongly recommend that you do a FT degree instead.

Hope this answer your questions, cheers

Hey Madgiant mind if you pm me your mobile number so i can have some seamless conversation with you thru text?

To be honest my situation is about the same as yours just that my GPA is 2.1 and I applied for Computer Science.

Currently I'm waiting for them to reply to my appeal letter...

I know the hardship of studying part time as I did a second diploma (Other than my local one ) Last year as i was thinking of not working in the IT Sector. Of course the workload would be way harder in local Uni like NTU.

I am really hoping to know more about your interview and also many more things

Thankful for you who saw this post!!
