About Ms. Toh Mui Kiat

She comes across to me as a very cold and uncaring person.

Once, when I consulted her over an issue, she kept interrupting me while I was asking my question, as though she wanted to force her idea onto me.

And somehow I feel that she only wants to patronize you or force you into accepting your fate rather than seriously putting in any effort to help you when you email her to enquire about module availability, changing of module groups, etc.

Is it just me who's thinking this way, or are there others who feel the same as me? Or am I entirely mistaken about her?

Pls help me to clear my doubts. Your feedback is much appreciated. Thx

Angry

Hi all, I am a year 4 e-commerce student from School of Computing. I am scheduled for graduation this coming July and will be starting my employment in the same month. However, I am currently in urgent need to fulfill one last module this coming special term in order to successfully graduate.

However, I was not awarded ANY module during the special semester application AND the appeal period even though I have indicated that I am going to graduate in the special semester itself.

I have spoken to Ms Toh who mentioned that the only modules with vacancies are either those that I have taken before or I have no prior background and/or don't meet the prerequisites. (aka, engineering modules). I can take a risk and take those in engineering that I have absolutely zilch experience however, I don't know if that's advisable. (And worst case scenario, if I am going to fail, then I am not going to graduate too.)

Alternatively, I can wait until Special Semester Part 2, which I don't mind. But if I don't get a module THEN ? And when I raised this question to Ms Toh. This was her reply : "Cry then lor." .

So, any ideas on how to proceed ?
Upz for debate. WHy does such a women exist?
