1) lower down your salary by $500

2) interview with confidence..They always say must have confidence..yes! Confidence is a must and u must portray it.

3) as some desperate measures, if u apply SME u will have higher chance. Big company alot of applicants.

---> u sure get hired within one month

first rule, always ask for a salary u feel u r worth. Dun quote lesser than what u r happy with becoz u won't stay long at that job. if u feel u r worth 2.5, just ask for it.

True experience.

See what organizations first...

Some organizations have standard rumeration packages for fresh grads.

You don't even have any room for negotiation until it is time for negotiation few years down the road.

AGREE... if u start on a bad footing by degrading urself, how u expect ur employer to respect u.

Then again some people start low, but they do so well, their next increment from their promotion is like $500-$1,000 more!

I guess its the salary tat cause ppl can't find job, I've seen alot of ppl want to start at high pay but forgotten tat they have no experience. If for fresh grad best is to secure a job first maybe at a lower pay, one year later then slowly source for the job that u really like.

lol i mean realism bah. at the very least, do not go below what u won't want to work at. Must be happy working for that pay. If know that never go for internships to make yourself proven, then understandably you won't dare ask for much also, then again dun go below what u won't want to work at.

I did ask for low 2k before, the feeling that u r offered isn't really very good to feel to the extent u feel like rejecting.
